"Jazz From the Heart" - The Music of Bill Evans

Ari Erev Trio - playing the music of Bill Evans, Jazz Series at the Givatayim Theater, Novemberm 2008

We are delighted to play the touching music of the legendary Jazz pianist Bill Evans.

We are:

   Ari Erev - Piano
   [to be announced] - Bass
   Gideon Pasachov - Drums

The program is also dedicated to the memory of a dear friend and great bassist Udi Kazmirski, who passed away in 2012. Kazmirski enthusiastically participated in all performances of this program between 2007 and 2012. Rest in Peace, Udi!

The program includes Bill Evans's original compositions as well as other pieces that he recorded or used to play, including tunes from the famous "Sunday at the Village Vanguard" recording, from 1961.
