Pianist Ari Erev's new album combines Latin-flavored jazz compositions with modern, straight ahead Jazz, creating a colorful set, full of variety and inspired playing. Also included in the album are Erev's own Jazz arrangements for a number of Israeli songs written by Alexander "Sasha" Argov, one of Israel's greatest composers,as well as interpretations for a few Jazz standards.

An exceptional team of musicians were selected to fit the project's musical style and they create colorful variations on the set in almost every tune; From a Duet (a Saxophone/Piano touching rendering of "For All We Know"), through trios, quartet, quintet (with percussion) and a two-saxophones sextet.

The album features Joel Frahm, one of New York most appreciated saxophone players who accepted Erev's invitation to take part in this project. Frahm himself recorded albums with pianists Brad Mehldau and Kenny Barron, bassist Rufus Ried and drummer Victor Lewis, and with other Jazz greats, as sideman.

The other musicians taking part in the album are: World-renowned percussionist Gilad Dobrecky who was named "one of the world top percussionists" by Jazziz magazine, New-York-based Israeli bassist Tal Ronen, bassist Arie Volinez and drummer Eitan Itzcovich, both teachers in the "Rimon" school of Jazz and considered among the leading Israeli Jazz musicians and Ofer Shapiro who joins in two pieces, on Alto Saxophone and Clarinet.
